When you’re filming a reality show, selling luxury real estate, and managing a million commitments, getting quality sleep isn’t just nice – it’s necessary. After years of early morning showings and late-night filming sessions, I’ve finally perfected my nighttime routine. Trust me, there’s a reason the Selling Sunset crew never catches me with under-eye circles!

Setting the Scene

The key to great sleep starts way before bedtime. Just like staging a luxury home, it’s all about creating the right atmosphere. Every night when I get home (unless we’re filming!), I start my wind-down routine the moment I walk through the door.

Creating the Perfect Sleep Sanctuary

The Bedroom Setup:

The Evening Reset:

First things first:

– Lower all lights

– Turn on sleep mode for phones

– Light my favorite lavender candle

– Set room temperature to 68°

– Quick tidy of spaces (clutter affects sleep!)

My Sacred Skincare Ritual

After long days of on-camera makeup and LA sun, this routine is non-negotiable:

Double Cleanse:

– First cleanse: Balm cleanser to remove makeup

– Second cleanse: Gentle foam for deep clean

– Facial massage with cleansing tool

– Lukewarm water (never hot!)

– Pat dry with clean towel

Treatment Time:

Hydrating toner

– My holy grail Greek oil

Face serum

Eye cream (tap, don’t rub!)

Neck cream (always up, never down)

Body Care:

Because skin care doesn’t stop at the face:

– Dry brushing

– Rich body cream

Hand cream

Cuticle oil

Foot cream with socks

The Wind-Down Hour

This is my favorite part of the day:

Silk pajamas (worth every penny!)

– Herbal tea

Current book

Meditation app

– Light stretching

Technology Reset:

When you work in real estate, completely unplugging isn’t realistic, but I:

– Set phone to DND

– Move devices away from bed

– Use blue light glasses if needed

– Set gentle wake-up alarm

– Quick check of tomorrow’s schedule

Reality TV Ready Tips:

What I’ve learned from being on camera:

– Consistency is key for skin

– Hydration shows on camera

– Good sleep prevents puffiness

– Silk pillowcases prevent wrinkles

– Regular facials are worth it

Emergency Sleep Kit:

Pro Tips for Quality Sleep:

For Racing Thoughts:

Living with ADHD means my mind can race at night, so I:

– Journal before bed

– Use a weighted blanket

– Practice breathing exercises

– Listen to sleep stories

– Diffuse calming oils

For Early Showings:

When I have morning properties to show:

– Prep outfit night before

– Set multiple alarms

– Use sunrise alarm clock

– Keep morning essentials ready

– Plan extra sleep buffer

Bedside Table Essentials:

Always within reach:

– Water carafe

Hand cream

Lip balm

Sleep spray

– Current book

Post-Filming Recovery:

After long shooting days:

– Extra hydrating mask

– Cooling eye patches

– Gentle facial massage

– Calming tea

– Extra sleep time

Remember:

Quality sleep isn’t a luxury – it’s a necessity. Investing in your nighttime routine is investing in your next day’s success. Whether you’re on camera or not, looking and feeling refreshed starts with a good night’s sleep.
